Description: If you are a current ePortfolio user, or if you wish to begin an ePortfolio program, this session is for you! Virginia Tech has been engaged in ePortfolio development for more than 5 years now. Departments in each college have been underway developing some sort of ePortfolio program for assessment, professional development, and/or enhanced student learning. In this short course, co-sponsored by FDI, CIDER, and ePortfolio Initiatives, we want to bring our experienced ePortfolio users together for a strategy-sharing session in which we discuss various components of a successful adoption of ePortfolios into programmatic assessment of student learning outcomes and professional development of students. Representatives from Teaching and Learning, Dietetics, and English, as well as others, will come to share their expertise. Come join in the conversation about ePortfolios at Virginia Tech.
